EFI fuel pumps run at around 4-6 amps last time I checked, if the relay works then all's good. Doesn't matter what it looks like, or where its from. Hey, it goes!

Just a word(s) of caution to note on this thread about relays on (at least) 14CUX trucks- standard relays will work but if you look closely you'll see that the OE main and pump relays have a protection diode built into them.
The reason is when a relay switches off, the current in the coil collapses suddenly and produces a high voltage spike that can seriously wound ic's and microprocessors - and as they're connected to the ECU that's not good..and it's why they cost more...:o
May never happen, but cheaper than a new ecu!
