shuddery pick up to near if not total loss of drive, noise and vibrations at certain revs.

my advice is if you're doing a clutch on a td5 you change the flywheel and engine mounts all in one go.

Is it just the growl from the spigot bearing till warmed up???
I have also had a few push the pedal in and extremely rough vibes,a sign of the dual mass giving up Im told.
Since chipping it slips the clutch easy, expected for 245000ks.
I have great difficulty in doing hillstarts when loaded up,engine dont want to spool up from low revs, slip the pedal and the clutch smells like its cooking.Rear mainseal should be done at the same time.
Parts arnt as dear as one would think considering its a flywheel and crutch kit needed.

    wow....that was quick......

loss of drive from a flywheel......now thats interesting.......

ive got the shudder......then it just locks with a jolt and all is good.....
feels like just a clutch plate........

but i havent had any experience with DMF.........if i use a few more revs on take off and ride the clutch a tad longer than normal.....
i can take off without any shudder......

but i cant do anything just yet cos i need the car to go on a trip in a couple of weeks......
then i can take it off the road for some reairs......

    parts aint cheap either......

i was thinking of getting rid of the DMF and just fitting some type of standard flywheel......
will work it all out if and when i manage to pull it all apart......
