A good idea
I`ve been after a replacement manual fuel advance cable for my old tuck. Now the problem was it being a bit over 2 meters long, which it seems is a long cable.A bloke at the wreckers put forward the grouse idea of using a push bike brake cable. They are a wound wire inner with a normal cable outer ,brilliant
.So I`ve now got a 2.1 meter cable for a measly $6.Which is just a wee bit less than a automotive cable of the same length. There is a bit of fabricating to be done.Just got to fit a pull knob to the inner and crimp a section of threaded tube to the outer for the dash end and all is done.
