    Fishy Pics

Here are a few various fishy photos of various trips I've been on over time.
I'm interested to see who's been doing what and where.
The first 3 are poppering for trevors in PNG, the snapper are from Double Island Point on plastics and the Kingies are wide of Mooloolaba on knife jigs.

Well since moving to Coffs about 6 months ago, I'm gradually getting geared up to start chasing bass and the like, so I'm interested to see some pics.
I'm actually going to "the gorge" on the Clarence soon to have my first real shot at it.
Mind you, photo's aside, most of my fishing exploits are creek based for the likes of jacks, lizards and bream, which on different tackle, are just as exciting in my opinion.
    Cheers.

That's an awesome muddie! Did you get a size or weight? How's the barnacles on the shell. I've seen a few biggies come out of Stanage Bay QLD, but that has to be up there.

Went out from Foster last weekend and got some fair sized snapper. On Sunday we decided to have a sleep in and fish in close to Lattitude rock - I mean close in. One guy on the helm and the other fishing right in the wash. We had some cunjevoi which we had salted down for a week so it was a bit tougher than fresh We caught a few nice groper and some awesome black drummer.

Must have been busted off about twenty times as it is only 1-5 metres deep and most were hooked in the wash in 2 metres of white water.

Went fishing off the beach on Sunday night for Jew but kept getting busted off so went to wire trace and had some fun with some bronzies. Get a couple of nice boneless fillets of them which cut up well for fish cocktails.

    Hey Chenz,

how much fun are those drummer? I've only ever fished for them once and it was actually from a rock platform on Cape Hawke at Forster. We got about half a dozen up to about 6 & 1/2 pound on hermit crab. I went with a mate and his uncle that live at Landsdowne just north of Taree, and he gets his hermit crab from the trawlers at Crowdy Head. They seemed to work well enough and haven't fished for them since.

    Good stuff.
