    New kayak

After many years of being boatless & missing the water/fishing I have purchased a Hobie pro angler 14. What a great way to fish. VERY stable & super-comfy. First day out with a mate did 8 hrs of fishing & went about 10 kms. Body felt fine afterwards too. Got about 10 good squid. Can't wait to get out again soon.

I haven't tried fishing from a kayak yet but may do so this coming school holidays in the Walpole inlets. Looks like a very pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Just make sure you have a good knife accessible to cut the line in case you hook into a sting ray.
