Thinking 9.9........but back in the mid 70s my 161 HR panel van died, so after a visit to Repco found a 186 block somewhere in hard rubbish and they gave me a 192 recod short motor after some cash exchanged hands, my mate and I were amazed that everything off the 161 went onto the 192 including the head
shouldnt have bothered as in the end rust never sleeps

Things are slowly coming along, cabin roof now buttoned down, still need to glass cover it but will wait until decks are down.

Not sure what wheel house profile is going to look like yet but I'm happy with height

Fuel storage area is now going to be general stowage and drained gas bottle lockers, donor car I picked up has given up a 65ltr baffled aluminium tank so I'm gunna work this in some how

this is a base for later laid deck, looking for an effect similar to this

After two years cars are done and time to get back to this....20 litres of epoxy on order

boat.jpg this what I'm aiming for but ideas can change. I like the look of a plumb stem but it is probably to difficult to achieve now.

Inside cabin is also going to be revamped going more for a day boat more than a dedicated cabin cruiser

Took the wheels off the trailer to gain more room to work on the cockpit roof

got the roof glued down now I can workout my overhangs if any and the windscreen

I’ve used polyurethane glue while I wait for my epoxy to arrive, when it does I’ll fillet and tape the joins with thickened epoxy
It’s good to be back working with wood again after cleaning LR parts for two years

Im pleased with the proportions so far, I might cut another port hole jus forward of the existing one
