I have noticed the handles on my 5" that SWMBO uses a lot are badly worn and need replacing.I got it for a birthday present,with a Mossops 10.5" 'Knockabout' rod, when i was a teen,so it would be well over 40yrs old.
My sons have gone to egg beaters,mainly because they fish with lures and braid line.
With all due respect to your sons, Scarry, I presume with their spinning reels, lures (soft plastics perhaps?) and braid, they would be using the 'Soft Kockabout' rod?Quote:
