Interesting…….
Tonnes over ‘locals’ choose not to register the cars, boat trailers and boats. They also don’t purchase fishing licenses.

Sooo one my days off old mates returns from their fishing trip and the clutch in the troopie is siezed……
We had to retrieved both boats with our tractor, troopie has gone so they must have freed up the clutch.
Or got a tilt tray!
I had something similar happen a few weeks ago in my 2000 hilix (2wd) . Done a bank launch with the tinny the water was up to the sills to give me enough depth for the boat. Went out fishing for a few hours, came back and the clutch had seized. Lucky it was left in gear and came free after a few cranks of the starter.
Cheers
Soooo yesterday we had another recovery…..I only come along after it was completed.
Not 100% of the rig but it goes something like this….they did have 5 maybe 6 vehicles on the beach
A big RAM
4 jet ski trailer complete with massive storage area and maybe 10+ fuel jerries
Might have been a tri axle
Incoming tide
And yep ended up bogged…….
one of the group comes over for a chat as we were pulling a new 700m 3 phase cable into the ocean and said thank for your guys saving the $250,000 RAM.
I could here one of the other guys saying the a jet skier they we running 55PSI when they got bogged. After we recover them they lowered to 25…….but than decided to use eight guys to carry each of the jet skis from water to trailer.
One of the smaller trailers
