Kev, I'd love to come, but we dont get that day off down here, and funds and time are a bit tight to just have a long weekend,, I'd need two extra days to get up there and back.. A nice long drive though,,
However, I'll see what comes up, maybe I can work something,, I'll let you know a bit later,,,
    Thanks,,

    Hi Guys
Sorry for my absense from the forum lately but my dear old dad passed away 2 weeks before Christmas so I've been busy with family estate issues and sorting out my schedule for 2010 .
Anyway - I'm running a relaxing fishing trip up to the 'Fish River' near Lithgow NSW on the weekend of 6th / 7th of March .
Send me a PM if you want to tag along .
    Cheer's .

Great trip up to the Fish River !
Very relaxing weekend with some old fisho mates ,
Fishing was very ordinary this weekend but we spotted a 4 pound Brown that will be a target for our next trip up there .
Pitty nobody else from this forum made the effort to tag along .
Weather was fantastic with no rain and the river was crystal clear .
    Tight Lines !

I'm heading up to Lake Eildon on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of May. Booked the Boatel at Jews Creek so I can tie my little tub up alongside it and not have to worry about using the ramp gunna target browns and rainbows, and using the downrigger to hopefully get a big mofo down deep.

    Smile 90 Mile Beach

Well, with a couple of days off this coming weekend, I'm off to the famous 90 mile beach to have a fish and just kick back and relax with the Jessie (the dog).
Heading down to the start of it, (the Western end) at Reeves Beach, and then maybe, depending on what the camping/weather is like, might head a bit further East towards Loch Sport, exploring in between the two areas. At Reeves Beach, with a bit of a walk, there's access to quiet back waters of McLoughlins Beach, other than that, its surf all the way pretty much.
Should be able to get a decent feed of fish I'm hoping, so I can try out my new smoker . Should be able to get Flathead and Bream, and apparently, I may even be able to catch a Gummy Shark

Well, that's what I'm up to over the long weekend, if your in the area, feel free to come say hello, join me if you like.

Hope others are able to get out themselves somewhere and have a bit of a bait soaking.

    Cheers all.

Well my fishing season is over for now but hoping to grab a bull or 2 over winter in the canals

I am a avid land based shark hunter 8 weeks ago locked into a 11' tiger in morten bay

Anyone interested in a camping trip up bribe island main beach in summer more then welcome to come enjoy the fun ( the more backs the better ) as the men in grey suits pull hard.

I got a plenty of set ups from 50lbs to 200lbs more then happy to share them out normally run at least 3 main baits

Great idea for a thread and will post my future trips up and brag pic's in here.

    Cheers all
