I bought a rotted out Cruisecraft reefranger shell ,replaced transom, stringers, floor, bulkhead, bunks, etc (all timber actually). New tandem, new electronics ,stainless 150 ltr tank , 140 hp suzuki .
6 months of hard work but was very happy of the result . I wish i had before pics as it was a forgotten boat out the back of a slipway last registered /launched in 1988!!
pics is of its maiden voyage about 4 months ago the windscreen wasn't ready but we couldn't wait any longer .Its a fish magnet

Thanks Tombie, It is a great boat and performs well with twin 200 4 stroke Yammies. I previously owned a 560 series and was so impressed that I bought this one (bigger and better). Definitely gives you a feeling of confidence when the weather turns nasty. We go approx 80 miles out to sea fishing the reef. Usually this takes 2-3 hours but it has taken me 4 -5 on a couple of occasions when its turned nasty. Great handling boat. Her is a photo of my old 560.......Brian
