Haven't brewed for over a decade...but yes it used to take longer in winter....and I used to bottle once it reached the required specific gravity.
Well after 2 1/2 weeks its finally stopped fermenting, i think the fresher yeast re-activated the old yeast and why it took so long.
Bottling time tomorrow.
All bottled, 38 stubbies and 15 long necks - now the waiting game .
That's why I used to keep 52 dozen longnecks in stock...I never had to wait!!! [tonguewink]
I have another brew to start once I find some more bottles.
Picked up another 50x long necks off gumtree so will start another brew tonight.[bigsmile1]
And got another 5 x dozen and i just bought a 4l keg and co2 setup, just in time for my euro lager i have on the go and then ready for Wombat [thumbsupbig].
