Boy did that title spark my interest. Sadly its not what i thought.
Moving on to all grain brewing and I needed a large pot for the mash, picked up a 40ltr as pot along with an ss ball valve and a 2200w electric element.
Now to get a piece of perforated ss to make a false bottom to keep the bag off the element when I do biab brewing.

What thermo control unit are you using with your set up?
Not sure yet Lee, maybe an inkbird dual controller so that I can use it for a temp controlled fridge.

Cant believe its almost a year since i did this, put it aside while i looked for some ss mesh to make a false bottom for the pot.
Looking on AHB yesterday and a member was giving away a large sheet of ss mesh that he cut a piece off for the same purpose, i will will be cutting a larger diameter than the pot so that i can fold the edges over to make legs so it sits higher than the element.
Will also be getting a couple of STC1000 temp controllers, one for the fermenter and one for the pot to regulate the mash temps.

Nick there is a Home brewery place round the corner from work if you need anything picked up..
This is what I made, crab cooker from the old Rays Outdoors. It has an inner basket that keeps the bag off the element.
I use a Grainfather now that my mates bought me for my 50th.
