    I've been very happy with the service from Duckworth Parts who are now my preferred supplier. Also had good service from Famous Four in the past.

    Last time I was at a dealers discussing the pricing of parts (replacement compressor) the guys on the parts encountered were quite embarassed about the local cost but even with "trade price"and other minor discounts they could not get close to the import price.

    It's peculiar, as others have found, that for some items (usually less expensive ones?) the price difference is not that great

    hear nothing but praise for Duckworths on the "other Disco3/4 forum"

    Whilst living in the UK, i had a choice, the local LR Dealership (wife had a D2 TD5) or an alternative local independent

    Land Rover Spares, Land Rover Parts, Landrover Parts, Landrover Spares

    they used to export extensively and were far cheaper than the local dealership for genuine parts..

    If you go to the sister site . Www.disco3.co.uk
    There is a guy on there. " the large one" he deals in gen LRparts and is a great bloke.
    Shipped me a cubby fridge, and a few other parts. Very reasonable too.

    Nick has now left Yeoville LR.
    But if you do a search you will find someone else has taken over from him.

    Duckworths (Dan!) are great!

    I just bought a replacement key (RRV MY12); quote at dealer in QLd - $809 inclusive of programming and key blade (beyond comprehension) ;

    Duckworths - $300 plus $95 to program here in Brisbane (just bearable).
