    Parts

Hi Russrobe, not sure if you are after new or S/hand, I was down at Triumph Rover Spares the other day researching (wondering around looking at D4's), they have quite a few being dismantled and a couple of very late models, probably minimal Km's which could be an option.
Not sure what the rules are about mentioning businesses but I have no association what so ever.

Bearmach parts with 10% discount (using purchase code) minus VAT 20%

We are now members of the Bearmach Club providing discounts to Members and Land Rover owners. Bearmach - Parts For Land Rovers - Bearmach

Land Rover Owners Club Cairns is happy for anyone to use the discount code if they wish to purchase parts directly from the UK.

As always, there are a few things to remember, ...

    1. Items on special do not get 10% discount as they are already discounted.
    2. VAT is removed at the point of sale (VAT is 20% in the UK)
    3. Any item under 4kg will have a intergrated shipping charge. You may need to contact the Customer Service Team for quote on larger items, Via Chat on an evening or by email other times.
    4. If you need an estimate of delivery time talk to the Customer Service Team.
    5. Please read the "Returns" statement on the web page.
    6. You are responsible for your purchase, choice of part, no one else.

    Good luck guys.

    Hi Russrobe,

What did you end up doing to replace your struts?

My rears are trying to kill me.

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

Ordered Friday delivered Tuesday. If you want the rubber boots on the front you will need to mention it... Handy for keeping mud out of the bags. Pretty sure the rears still come with them fitted.

Easy fit job with the right tools. If you do a search the thread for when I changed them should pop up. Basically, you want every tool Atlantic British mention in their YouTube video. Atlantic British Presents: How to Install Air Strut Assembly.

Arnott Industry now do a front and rear air strut so you have that option now too. When I purchased they only did fronts and I wasn't keen on a mis match.

On YouTube Oxmanagain does a great how to video air strut replacement. He accessed the tricky inside nut from the engine bay down the side of the engine. His is a V8.

He’s just done a video dissecting a shock unit. Interesting.

    Parts - Purchase from?

I’ve just placed an order with RimmerBros with a value of approx AU$1K. They had the complete list of parts and compared to two other UK suppliers, were on average the cheapest. They also tell you the shipping cost before placing the order unlike some. The competitors didn’t have records for a couple of part numbers I needed.
Two days later it’s shipping with UPS, due in three days time. Parts - Purchase from?

    Online catalogue - MEYLE

The thread search function says Meyle is not in here, so I've put in the above link.
I haven't ordered directly from them, but recently my mech fitted one of their radiator bottles/expansion tanks, to my D3, due to a sticky float switch for low coolant level.
