    Question D4 wifi antenna

    Hi All,
On my D4 I have no sat-nav so there is a plastic cover in the roof where the shark's fin should go. Does anyone what I would find if I took the cover off, eg bare hole with no wires, hole with antenna connectors etc, and if there are wires, where do they go? I am considering fitting a Telstra 4GX internet to wifi dongle somewhere.
    Thanks in advance
    Stuart

    Hi Stuart,
Did you get an answer to your question?
I also want to put at least a 4G antenna on the roof feeding my 4GX or something more sophisticated if necessary (celfi maybe). I can't find anything about the plastic cover/what's underneath it and so need someone topping me in the right direction.
    Cheers,
    Barry

The blanking plate comprises two parts, with the top (outside) plate having two studs which the lower (inside) plate fastens up to. To access it you need to lower the rear section of the roof lining, which means moving aside both rear lower side panels, both rear end panels and both c panels. And the third row grab handles in the roof.
