that's the one-I haven't fitted it yet but plan to do on the weekend- i hope 5/16 is correct size as when i removed fuel hose to fuel pump fitting it seemed larger diameter but i think the plastic pipe before is 5/16(8mm) so may have to fit it further back if you know what i mean.

I just cleaned out sedimenter and this feed pump strainer which was actually very clean which was a good sign but since i screwed it back in(not easy to get started due to limited access) it keeps leaking-i assume i needed to replace a sealing washer?

It screws inside the banjo bolt holding the fuel line onto the bottom of the transfer (lift) pump. The banjo bolt is on the underside almost directly under the hand pump.

A few hints about getting the banjo bolt in and out if you haven't done it; 17mm ring spanner, stuff rag in the engine mount or it will fall through the mount onto the ground, firstly when you are getting it out and then secondly when you are manoevering it in and it slips out of your fingers.

Probably a good idea to fit a new rubber coated washer (14/23mm) if you can get one.

Sorted the leak-found it was a perished rubber washer -replaced with copper sealing washer which i assume would be the original type rather than rubber.
