hi my 110 county has the boge unit mounts but the shock has been removed, should i be looking of a shock for it? and will the boge unit work when the car is lifted ? and also the car has no sway bars ! so the car has a lot of body roll, haha and i mean a lot, and it makes it a mission to drive.
and the back axle rocks, cause of there being no boge unit and this is what i am trying to fix.
so anyone got some ideas ?
nope the boge wont help with lift
nor does it help with body roll
if you have the stock springs for a boge fitted county and dont have the boge thats why you have the excess body roll (it will also be down in the tail). Fit stiffer springs and shocks and if thats not enough body control for you sway bars. In reality if you need or want sway bars in a county then you are not using it correctly and should really sell it and buy a sports car.

yeah the ball joint from the A arm to the diff is pretty had it, and i am planning on replacing it, but i just got to find one 1st. but also i was think that the boge leveler unit would help, but i don't know if it with a lift and wear to get one ?
i got dobson 4'' springs which are a heavier duty, but i got pro comp shock which are quite soft, but i thought they would be good for 4wding and they are ! it's just that the tail is sitting lower then the front
the 4" increased height and soft shocks might have something to do with body roll, do you have a roof rack fitted to your County? Mine has a 2" lift and when I took out the sway bar, barely felt a difference. the Boge unit had been removed a month or two before then as it was thoroughly kaput.
There are only a few scenarios that hard and soft things work in unison, I don't believe a County's suspension is one of them scenarios.
Best thing I have got fitted handling wise was new suspension bushes and a new A frame ball joint.
Think it's time to put your hand in your pocket and buy something shiny and new.
where did you get the A arm ball joint ?
