some quick updates,
Due to the room that has to be behind the seat, the Stratos seat has been swapped back to a D1 drivers seat, and 2 1995 D1 front seats for rear seating as they have integrated bases and seat belt buckles for easy fitment. An Alloy 60l water tank is now in the rear footwell, 4mm plate top so it can be stood on etc. The quote I got for a locally made 6 point external roll cage is about the same as importing one from UK when freight etc etc is taken into account, and will at least be made to fit my vehicle exactly. The A/C dilemma continues, have abandoned under seat evap unit and gone back to an internal roof mounted unit, towards the rear so as to allow headroom for rear seat passengers. The vehicle now drives but not on the road yet. Still LOTS to do:(
Pics next week.

Any info on how you mounted the disco seats would be great thanks :D
Justin,
Any chance of some pictures on how you routed from the air cleaner to the turbo intake?
Have just finished of the adaptor plates to mount my GT2559V and contemplating which way up I mount her.....
Thanks
Still haven't updated with more pics yet and I will include some airfilter mounting etc too shortly, it has been a long haul as work has gotten in the way.(Funny, that:()
So basically; 12,000lb Winch and ARB bar on, wolf rims painted and on with new 255/85/16 BFG muds, dash mostly completed, A/C not yet fitted but I have decided on a 4speed fan underdash unit from a late Defender as with the D1 front seats they have been moved back a bit to allow more legroom, so SWMBO is happy with that.
The intercooler and exhaust ( A complete Td5 defender exhaust, fits perfectly all it needed was to be fitted up to the down pipe :)) is all fitted and plumbed in, electrics mostly done except for dual battery system HF radio etc.
Next item is spare wheel carrier and next week I get to drive it on the road for the first time as it has to go for an inspection for the seating mods.
Pics and a report later.
:):):):)

Any chance you could be tempted to take it for a spin offroad while you are at it???:D
Ha, not likely Brian:(, in order to drive an unreg vehicle on the road without a permit I need to be going directly to the examination centre, no roundabout way, no passing go, no collecting 200$ etc etc :( But it'll be nice to drive it finally, turbo whistle is pretty loud too :)

What about on the way home:D
