Water pump options

Thanks Gavo. Was the seal you got from Don Kyatt a genuine one, or a Don Kyatt P/N.
Looking at the parts manual there are a couple of variations of the seal, so would be interested to know the P/N of the one you got.

Check out the price of parts if you are rebuilding your old one - they aren't as dear as I expected. The new shaft I bought was only about $20, so IMO not worthwhile making unless you simply want a lathe project or have lots of time.

went to have a look the seal number is 1136200230 it is hand written on a jam label that is stuck on top of the original label is I don't it does say pump seal 6BB/BD/BG1
the pump box has the following numbers

8943768550 MADE IN JAPAN YL12
IT SAYS BTK genuine automotive products
