    home made winch bar

    hey i got round to making my winch bar, from 6mm steel plate, 76mm pipe, 30mm pipe and a million cutting disc's !!

    i still got to mount my tow hooks on the plate under the fairlead and th bolt a piece of ali under it jut like the equipe 4x4 bars

    That not overly ugly at all. I like it!
    I also like you minimalist welds

    Im guessing skippy has been all shot out around and about Thornlands!!!

    haha yeh not to many skippy's just the odd wallaby, and im getting my mate to weld up the rest i hate arch welding im to used to mig welding aluminium

    Stumpy I have been looking at winch bars but would like to see how yours pans out it looks sweet also stumpy what size lift have you got? And where did you get those flares from ?

    there not that hard to build took me to days then just gotta weld it, and it's a 4 inch lift dobson coils and terriferma radius arms, the flars were from flate dog in the UK heaps cheaper then terriferma ones

    Nice looking county I must say are you considering turboing ? Were the radius arms expensive ? How much for the flares if its not a rude question ? I think I might give the homemade bar a go will save $1000 at least
