    Question Isuzu gearboxes

    I have posted in the tec section about my problems with a 4bb1 mated to a lt95 box. So have been thinking along the line of getting a box that suits the motor better. Also realise I might need a remote transfer case. Well after doing some searching I`m still a bit about all the gearboxes that may or may not mate up to a 4b series motor. I have a 4bb1 wich has the part bell housing that wraps around the clutch. Therefore the gear box part of the bell housing will be fairly short. What ones have a stick change direct into the box? I have read of some having cable shifters? Do any fit straight up to a transfer case, even with some mod`s ?

    Hey Hall

    Were you there on Sunday?

    We counted 7 Isuzus; me , rijidij , Steve G , Kaa45 , deejay , The ambo/camper and gary in the 120.

    You didn't have the Isuzu there too?

    Did you see the Isuzu gear box and conversion in the back of Gary's 120?

    Not sure if that bolts up to a 4BB1 though(Assuming you didn't mean a 4BD1?)

    No did not get to the meet. Spent the day removing the gearbox for the third time looks like I should of been there to see the gear box conversion. So what is Gary`s online alias so as I might pm and get some info or even pic`s and info of this conversion ?
