Well after years of looking I have finally bought something.
A used and modified T28. AR60 on the comp side and .64 cast on the exhaust housing. From what I have read that seems to be OK ( Is it)?
No waste gate.
Not sure which is the oil feed and drain. I suspect the feed is the little flare hole and the drain the bigger hole that needs a flange.
The holes are 44mm between centres where does one get these fittings?
I will block the water holes as suggested.
From reading threads the normal manifold is T3 but these top mounts bolt straight to the T28 so thats good.
Can one buy a dump pipe or does one have to make it.? Cannot find one on ebay.
Bought a boost gauge and an EGT gauge from Auberins so need to get some hoses made up.
There are oil hose kits on ebay but they are all around a meter long and we dont need that length.
This will take some time as I use the old ute everyday.

I can't find a listing for that turbo - are you sure there aren't any other numbers on the tag?
It may be a TB (as fitted OEM to isuzus) as it has the T3 flange.
The worry is - what was done to it when it was "modified".
You do not need a wastegate if the turbo is sized correctly. Many of us (myself included) have permanently closed the wastegate.
No other numbers. Its not a T3 flange its a T25 or whatever. I am not an expert but its 1.5" centres bolt holes short side compared to 1.75' for the T3. The wastegate hole has been welded up and the pipes welded on. I have a receipt for a rebuild and all feels good.
Maybe a bit big?
Highway use mainly.
I expect it's similar to the T28 I started with. I siamesed mine with a T25 exhaust wheel and housing, then finished it with a T25 compressor cover bored out to take the bigger wheel. For clearance reasons.
The 0.64 A/R turbine housing is a good compromise that delivers grins from 2000rpm to the rev limit. I'm currently running a 0.49 and my usable range is from roughly 1000rpm to about 2,500rpm.
I run the wastegate clamped shut and get about 21psi at 2000rpm. I hit max boost of 24psi a few hundred rpm later. The boost stays there as you rev higher but the exhaust side chokes off the peformance due to my choice of small turbine housing.
The top fitting, I made my own banjo bolt (took a M12 shanked bolt, turned it down and spun some matching threads on it) and use a banjo fitting to deliver oil. On the drain I'm using a T25 drain, but fittings are all over ebay to drain T25/T28 turbos. Yes oil supply in the top, drain underneath.
As Dougal says supply on top. You can see the supply pipe on my pic in the other post. I think you bought my twin filter housing with top spacer. The spacer has oil supply point.
I think you could possibly drain the oil into the tube to the crank case breather filter. I'd be interested in people's thoughts on that.

BTW that turbo tag looks like it's had another one stuck on top. Possibly a recondition.
See if you can peel them apart.
