have you got the turbo or non turbo Injector pump?
if its the standard pump it needs some loving...
turn up to the tdi tuning day at my place, I'll give it a look and a tickle.
On the beach in the really soft stuff it is excellent. On the highway it runs out of puff. I have 32' wrangler MTRs and a big full roof rack . There is a garrett turbo fitted and I can hear it working. Has a snorkel and a new air filter. It was pretty windy today, but I remember driving a standard 3.9 without a turbo and it would sit on 120 all day. (took awhile to get there though) What do I have to do to get more top end power? I will be fitting a new turbo manifold and 3" exhaust in the new year. Has the Mike Vine set up at the moment.

If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Which gearbox and high range ratio are you running?
On 32's an LT95 with 1.335:1 (standard V8 or Stage1 ratio) is on the governor at about 105km/h.

The gearbox is the LT 85 5 speed. I would imagine it would be the standard injector pump. Blacknight, when is this on at your place? Im away all of November though.....
this saturday. Yours I fear will be the easiest one on the day..

First thing I would check is the hose between the turbo and intake manifold. Make sure the clamps are tight and the hose is not leaking. If you can hear the turbo working it possibly is leaking boost somewhere. Is your Mike Vine setup the one with the turbo mounted under the intake manifold?
If so I am sure Blkusnightus will do it anyway but all it probably needs is a bit more adjustment on the fuel screw, get rid of the blowoff valve and lock the wastegate shut. You will need a pyro and a boost gauge if you dont have them already. It should go like a dog shot in the **se after this treatment![]()

Im going over to Blknights place so he can have a looky. Yes the turbo is mounted under the inlet manifold. The Isuzu turbo manifold is $385 so I can put the turbo on the other side,so I don't have the exhaust running around the back of the block.
