I've rebuilt mine, albeit a separate Lt85/LT230 combination, all using parts from Ashcroft transmissions, they sell rebuild kits.
I also put into new thrust washers and a one piece centre pin for the centre diff even though it was ok. As I understand it this part is the pretty much the only weakness in what otherwise is strong & reliable transfer case design.

We get one of these threads every couple of months, wasn't this same Isuzu powered county up for sale not long ago? Looking for assurance that you should hold onto the vehicle?
By all accounts the Isuzu is a reliable donk and the LT95 is the toughest gb. Sounds like your ok with the major issue of the engine shacking everything apart. The transfer just needs an overhaul/rebuild and there are at least two recent threads on fixing up your air conditioning concerns. Sounds like you just have to decide to either fix the problems or get into another vehicle

Have had similar thing happen in my old RRC ended up being the bolts that secure the low range gear to the center diff housing had undone themselfs to the point were a few had broken the heads off inside the spedo housing and one had lodged into the housing and split it open and locked up the driveline .
Easy fix insitu and if you lock the center diff before you pull the housing out it makes it easyer getting it back in as the locking collar will be engaged over the front output shaft and you wont need to take the front housing off :D

Turns out the bolts had come out of the CDL and the TC needs new bearings.
While I have access to a good value Landy mech who is currently in town , as someone said, may as well throw more $ at it :eek:
He is going to do; swivel housings repairs , full brake reline and repairs , panhard bushes , prop shaft unis and steering column unis , pitman arm correct nut and locking tab washer ( which it didn't have:eek: ) wheel bearings and seals , adjust tappets , fit a defender heater system , fit an ancilliary aircond unit in the rear:D ) and give the poor old bugger a full service and going over.
Less than a week from initiating divorce proceedings to happily back in the sack. Thats gotta be a record even for you :wasntme::wasntme:
Glad to hear its not too terminal - the center diff bolts coming loose are a known issue as others have mentioned. Lucky it didn't grenade the casing :eek:
While you've got someone decent to work on it, you should do away with that poncy D-gas and move the turbo from the shelf to the engine bay....

It has certainly been a love/hate relationship.
I would do the turbo Steve except I don't think I will be getting much change out of $ 5000 for all the work being done:eek:
As well as the list above is new slotted/vented rotors and a complete inspect and bolt tighten of both diffs , all new oils and filters and a full check over.
The CV joints have checked out all okay
Why the slotted/vented rotors? Are you having fade issues?
If its pedal feel etc that you're after, the solid ones work fine - its the crappy booster and drum rears going out of adjustment that make the brakes suck.
