    Thanks Dougal.

I'll have to hide the torque from the gearbox though

Just got a little bit more stuffing around and I'll be able to give it a thourough assessment with my 'butt-dyno'.. but works keeps sending me away

Wait.. back up the Landy.... 700Nm??

I was planning on tuning my engine/turbo combo at some point, but I don't think my gearbox can handle that either! Poor, poor gearbox...

Not too scruffy for an old 4 banger, and just a bit better than one of those famous 'bullet proof' 300tdi's.

Could do with some more fuel though

Don't you plan on more RPM too? I cut the curve down from 3,200rpm to fit with my own rev limit. VE drops and BSFC climbs, but if you keep increasing boost past then you can keep pushing the power higher and higher.
Looks like 550Nm at 4000rpm is still realistic, that's about 230kw with 140cc. With 180cc that's the sort of thing to make grown men grin and drool like idiots.

    But yeah, poor gearbox.

Yes pump rpm set to ~2200 rpm, so over 4000 engine rpm (engine has been balanced and stronger valve springs fitted for higher boost + rpm.

    Approximately... 0.

The R380 is only about 50k old, and still in very good nick - tight, smooth and quite. I plan on keeping it that way while I save for a Grubb conversion. Sadly, that will mean limiting boost and being gentle - but I am a mechanically sympathetic driver most of the time in any case so im not expecting any probs (and will have to sell the r380 to finance the Isuzu box anyway, so will be looking after it).
