Nope pistons are all good and there was no sign of excessive heat to tell the truth comparing the 4bd1 to the 1hd-ft now ive had the chance to put both together im glad i have the isuzu as the way things are made in there are so frigging big its no wonder they are so tough

Compared to my TDI300 the 4BD1 looks like an out house made of sand stone blocks compared to one made of pine weather boards :p

As for the knocking and shaking mike had i rekon that a near 1000cc or 1L cylinder capacity firing at the wrong time due to a bad injector would near rip the motor off its mounts and sound like it was being flogged with a FBH
