That turbo is a lot bigger than it looks. 70mm compressor and 65mm turbine are much bigger than T28's are supposed to be and much bigger than we need.Quote:

Thanks Dougal. I'll keep your link in mind. :) Probably more $$ than I can justify being that I already have a working turbo I haven't used yet (apart from the drive home from buying the vehicle). But I do like having options!! :angel:
Would you consider a cheap Chinese one? Or is it just too unknown? It appears no-name from what I can see? :confused:
Kinugawa are as far as I know quality japanese parts. I have no problem with chinese turbos. I run chinese rebuild kits in two of my turbos. But it's more about a reputable seller and product. There are horror stories out there.Quote:

They dont list any detailed info about them on their page, if they are standard are others using them, and happy with them.

That's an MHI which is used on the industrial engines. If you want to run at 1800rpm and 9psi boost all day it'll be great. Otherwise it's not a good choice.Quote:

Will be ordering one after I get back from next trek.
Essentially, the performance turbos I have picked are the best turbos for low performance too.
They spool early, produce lots of boost at low rpm for maximum torque and don't run out up high.
Whether you want a mild tune or to remove the fuel screw completely, they will work.
Hi Dougal did you look at the KKK27 turbo as an option for the isuzu engine I think they where on 940 Volvos and possibly Porsche motors. Just wonder you thoughts on suitability.Quote:
