    exhaust flex pipe

    Has anyone fitted one of those SS braided exhaust flex pipes to help reduce vibration on isuzu.

    I think everyone with an Isuzu has fitted one. Pretty sure its mandatory

    Yep, 8x3 inch on my dump pipe.

    I thought is was a diesel engine thing. Just assumed they all had them. I had a new exhaust done a few months ago and the old one had a flex and the new one does too.

    mine isn't a turbo but will try the flex-pipe for vibration reduction. BTW-does it matter how long the flex pipe is? I measured the stock pipe at 2.25" -is there any point going slightly larger on non-turbo?

    As long as its the same diameter as the rest of your system it won't create a restriction.

    I got one installed so I could fit larger diameter tyres. Mines a standard 4BD1 so the exhaust travels through the pass side wheel well. only cost around $70 fitted from memory. Got home and fitted 33x10.5 15's.

    did the same, moved the flex to inside the gard and another under the floor
    33x12.5x15 BFG
