Phil.
Donaldson filter has stabilised @ 6 seconds for oil pressure light to extinguish on a cold start.
Pretty sure the Rover filter only took 3-4 seconds.
Oil (RX Super) is at top marker on dipstick.
Or that the non return valve is not quite as good as the Isuzu filter

As I've mentioned in another post, I ditched the new Fleetguard filter after 1 week and replaced with an Isuzu filter (made by who knows).
I hate waiting for an oil pressure light to go out. Time difference was about 5 seconds vs 1.5 seconds. I'd put money on the difference being the quality of the anti drain back valves.
Just got some prices on filters locally and $24 for Fleetguard, $11 for an Isuzu (not sure of actual manufacturer)! Have ordered some so will see if the price holds up when they arrive. Might be used ones rinsed out! ;)
Cheers, Mick.
Are these low prices for spin-on filters as used on Perenties?
Or are they for cartridges?
In the first 12 months after being issued our RFSVs a number of vehicles had rear main seals 'blown out' due to over filling.
It was instilled in us with a 'Member to pay' warning from Transport, the dipstick marks were Law, NOT a suggestion.
Good move on getting the level correct.
A side story was the additional warning to members to quit stealing the (new) OMD113. It was fairly obvious who was using it in their vehicles. the newly free flowing leaks due to the high detergent levels in it ;)
