    4BD1-T smokey

    Just got the perentie turbocharged - amazing difference in performance. It is a bit smokey now in second when you give it heaps - issue? Or don't worry about it?

    As far as I know you only need to worry about white smoke. Do you have an EGT gauge?

    I don't see why it would only be in 2nd...?

    It's black smoke - I've got the bung in but haven't got the probe and gauge yet. I only notice it in second , no doubt it happens in all gears.
