Garrett GT2560R should be suitable, as it was factory for the sr20
Bought a low mount manifold and a few other bits and am now sourcing a second hand turbo (budget constraints), for fit up to my Perentie.
Based on Dougal's experiences and reports, I've been looking for a T25 a/r .49 from a CA18DET but they're proving a bit hard to find, especially in good condition. Boost from low rpm, driveability and towing performance is important to me, more so than big numbers at high (3000 + rpm). I wont be intercooling at this stage and the exhaust will also remain stock for now.
There are plenty of T25 a/r.80 from SR20's around, but the forum consensus seems to be that these will not be ideal.
I've located a good used Garrett T25 a/r .42 from a Saab 9000 and would appreciate feedback regarding whether this would be suitable for my application, or would it be too small/restrictive?

Well I've bitten the bullet so to speak and ordered a new TD04HL -19T. So hopefully no more 'is this turbo suitable' questions from me.
I'm sure my wife will eventually forgive me....
This kit comes with an oil line, is it advisable to use a restrictor in the oil feed?
edit: wrong turbo.
although a good turbo, there are better ones if your buying new
Whats wrong with this turbo Eevo?
Where is this info? I run this on my Isuzu as do many others, works really well with this motor. As I said I'm running 25psi in mine, plan to boost it up some more with the new motor. There is plenty of info on here about this turbo, its easily as good, if not better than the gt2260vnt I ran before it.
Oh yeah there are better, but at double the cost! For under $1000 brand new, its great bang for buck. Has been sized for this engine as well by the turbo/isuzu experts. Comparable to the he221 in output.
