How many teeth should I have?

Turns out I have 31 and 48 which from what I gather is 1.13:1. According to another post. I'm told .996:1 is 26 and 45

Are the gears easy to get hold of?

Looks like I could change them without pulling the box, is it possible?

SteveG runs that ratio and tyre size, he seems quite happy with it. You can change the gears without removing the box

I remember Steve mentioning it once before, just need to track down a set of gears now

May as well try track down a taper roller conversion while your at it

When I bought the box I was told it already has the taper roller kit in it, do you know if the gears are different between taper roller and normal?

If that is the gearbox you got of Justin it should already have .996 ratio in it Jock.

Yeh mate that's the box, I just had the bottom cover off and counted the teeth

Do those teeth numbers above sound right to you?
