Mine has a threaded adjuster on the mount bracket which attaches to the inlet manifold. I don't recall if it was part of the T3500 EDIC or came with the engine but I recall messing with the manifold mount to get it to fit.

So when in the off position steve, is the cable tight?

Not sure how you define tight...

There is a spring between the actuator arm and the cable - that isn't extended.
With EDIC in OFF position, I can move the cutoff lever on the IP about another 6-8mm (measured at the end of the lever) in the cutoff direction before it hits the stop on the pump.

    Does that help?

So i am back dealing with this again, mine does what you have posted Steve, there is about 6-8mm of play, engine doesn't shut off once warm, not exactly sure how to fix this. So am wondering if the Landy edic motor does the same?

Sounds to me like you've got both the extend and retract pins powered....

I think Steve is close to the problem.
From memory of pulling mine apart years ago there was some wear on the contacts. A fair bit of water had got
    in which didn't help.
The connections on the relay were an issue as well. Nothing half a can of WD40 can't fix!

So i just ended up opening it up and adjusting the limits for the micro switch, seems to be shutting off nicely now.
