Been thinking of the same kit for mine for the same reason. Are you happy with the way it works on the highway?
First photo shows the clamp that attaches the outer cable from the actuator to the outer of the original throttle cable.
Other 2 photos show the replacement pin that I turned up for the input lever on the injection pump. The kit came with a clamp arrangement to connect the 2 inner cables together but I wasn't happy with it, so made the replacement pin with a hole in the top to take the new cable, and the pin goes through the crank to hold the throttle cable (replacing the bolt that originally did that job).
Nyloc nut goes on the threaded end and all is happy.
Keeping in mind that mine isn't a factory Isuzu fit and previously had a 200tdi in it so no guarantee of anything being standard

I have got an AP60 kit for my Series 3 but was not keen on the extra lever on the column or the button pad stuck somewhere on the dash. Command do have a 3rd option for controls. The wooden version even matches my steering wheel.

Definitely happy with it on the highway so far. I haven't been anywhere with significant hills, but it works fine on the couple of inclines on my daily commute, and maintains the set speed well.
I'm only having one small issue with it - some mornings it doesn't want to engage. Stopping, turning off the engine and restarting fixes it so I'm suspicious that its an issue with my start battery getting a bit old and struggling to turn the engine over. Possibly the voltage drop is upsetting the cruise module during start.
If you've got a bit of backlash in your drivetrain you'll notice the clunk when the cruise disengages. I've taken to putting my foot on the accelerator pedal a bit to take up the slack in the cable before disengaging. That smooths it out.
It will get a workout on our trip later in the month so I'll report back again after that.

Next thing , you'll be putting in power windows Steve
After about 5K km's return from Melbourne to Yulara I'm very happy with the cruise control. Its still working well after enduring some decent corrugations on the Anne Beadell hwy, and the propshaft magnet and sensor/bracket coped with the numerous small bushes we drove over that cleaned the underside of chassis and diffs.
It's definitely achieved the goal of improving comfort on long transits, and I didn't have any of the issues with right foot numbness that I've had in the past.
