Yup. Hopefully this post saves anyone else from the same. Thank you for sharing.

The truck is, thanks in large part to the community here, (especially Brian) back on the road. Sorted the clutch situation out (just about the whole bloody kit was wrong, but in the right boxes from the warehouse) by going with klr for the second replacement and returning the first to exedy. Still about a dozen or so items to sort (some wiring, a sender/gauge on the way, etc.) but two days and about 100km in, the truck and I are getting 'reacquainted'. Will post up some video soon. Know I would never have even got to this point without a lot of help from those here, so thank you.

While I am working through a bit of a gauge/tstat issue at the moment (runnning 90-95C instead of 80-85C as before) I wanted to post the 'engine porn' as previously committed. A huge thank you to the more experienced members here for their help with all my questions, worries, need for parts and such. This is a great group of people and I count myself lucky to be among you all.

Sort of. Right tstat and another go and it seems 90-95C is our new normal. Fitting a low coolant alarm this weekend just to be doubly sure before a cross country trip. It hasnt misbehaved and coolant has remained intact thusfar.
