    LT95 Reverse Light switch?

So, for some reason, my truck does not have a reverse light switch installed. Did the LT95 trucks have one originally? I figured I would ask before buying one and seeing if it would work.

Trying to find a picture of the switch location... someone said it was where the dipstick goes (right side of the shifter housing).

This thread: LT95 rebuild for beginners makes it look like it is at the front. That makes more sense. I'll need to look again. Is that the right spot?

Okay, problem solved. That is the location of the switch. Mine is there and working. It just has no wires to it. Easy enough to fix. There is no way to see the switch without removing the tunnel.

At least the tunnel is easy to remove on this gearbox compared to the later ones.

IIRC its the same as the switch used for the CDL light, and they are adjusted by how much they are screwed into the casing.
I've had a couple fail so worthwhile checking the switch is working correctly with a multimeter or test light for starters to save chasing your tail when the light doesn't work later.
If its not, pull it out and test again. Either refit and adjust or replace it depending on what you find.

The switch is working fine. There is just no way to see it with the tunnel in place, and that is why I asked. The gearbox is very close to the tunnel. Someone had removed the wires (there is no backup light on the truck as the rear of the truck is completely custom). It looks like there must have been a short loom for the purpose. There are male spade connectors on the bulkhead. I've since added the two wires back. I have a backup camera and am planning to add some backup lights.

Yes, it is the same switch that is used for the CDL.
