one of the bolts that secure the alternator had become loose and slipped out and was rubbing on the fan.
easy fix.
My wife currently has our 4BD1 County and she has reported a loud 'buzzing' sound coming from the radiator area. Unfortunately I am away working and not able to have a look but she has given me some information and sent a video of the noise (attached). Does anyone have idea what might be the problem given the information below:
Sometimes a very loud buzzing can be heard from near the radiator area (pump, fan etc...?) but most of the time vehicle is running normal without it occurring.
On one occasion when the engine was running at idle, it sounded like a fan slowing down and then the noise stopped but engine continued to idle as normal.
Any ideas?

It’s always a relief when it’s something simple.
