The info is on the forum if you search. Putting a kit together yourself does take some effort and running around to hose makers and a trip to an exhaust shop to get a dump pipe made. I’ve read on here their kits are about $4500. With some effort and research you can do a lot better.

Parts were, 4bd1t manifold, td04hl-19t turbo, turbo adapter, dump pipe i made from a 3" mandrel bend, cobra head 3" elbow for the intake, oil line came with turbo, oil drain from 4bd1t.
Additional stuff was Auberins egt guage where i tapped into the manifold for the probe, Plazmaman 800hp water to air intercooler, and some silicon bends and stainless pipe.
All up i spent about $3500 on turboing and intercooling (intercooler was about $2k)
This is the oil return through the top of the oil pump housing. I think this is only available on a Perentie or maybe very late county. But there are other options eg the alternator oil return line.

Perentie would have used a 4bd1t motor (6x6), other perenties never had turbos, neither did countys.Quote:

No worries Vern. My two posts together would have been better, made more sense. But my phone reception wasn’t great, so did one half then the other. But we were posting around the same time and your post landed in the middle.
Ok so you can do it cheaper yourself if you are prepared and capable of running around buying and manufacturing the bits
The original question was about turbo KITS
Are any others available other than KLR?
A small amount of research on here can provide all the parts that are needed to make your own 'kit', and you should be able to do most if it from your computer. Yes yiu may need to make some bits, but from what mates with the klr kit have told me, they had to do the same.
Turboglide do a kit, $4k from memory
I don't think 'cheaper' really does it justice when it is less then half the price.Quote:
