T9000M vs T8000M
Gents,
I grabbed a 9000 winch from the auctions recently and will be fitting it up to my 130 (set up for touring, some towing) in the coming months.
I weighed it last night and it comes in at 40kg with a bare drum....I'll add synthetic rope when fitted. For reference my existing electric unit is 28kg with cable and solenoid pack.
My query relates to the T8000...is it substantially smaller? Either dimensions or weight?
If there are only minor differences I'll stick with the bigger unit....the weight of a fully loaded 130 wont go close to a 6x6 GVM, but I will likely exceed a 110.
Cheers,
Jason

I know a T9000M doesn't fit between a 4x4 Perentie's chassis rails, which given they are the same distance apart as your 130's may be an issue for you.

The T9000M is 600mm wide, the 130 chassis rails taper from 630mm to 620mm in front of the front cross brace....however it would be a minor thing to modify the front chassis horns were it too tight for the 9000 to easily fit.
