    Gunna need a bigger bonnet

    Hi all
Any suggestions for modding a perentie 6x6 bonnet. My thoughts so far are:
    1. Try an fit a falcon BA power bulge ( would also replace the thermostat housing cover)

    2. WRX style scoop (issues with hp air entering engine bay reducing flow through radiator, fugly )

    3. Make a one off mould of existing bonnet using plaster of paris and after removing bonnet, fill and shape in power bulge and lay up new fibreglass bonnet (most work but could be best looking solution)

    Thanks
    Bob
    Regards

does it need airflow? and would the difference be noticable if it got it?
holes in bonnets are always a tossup..

just fyi,, the D2 bonnet has a huge no-pressure area that close to the windshield..
go for a drive in the rain and check before cutting anything

I do like the idea of a power bulge

    It's a water/air IC Pedro so doesn't need air.

    Maybe a Tdci bonnet?

Maybe you could fit a Navara scoop, They are a fairly big unit and would be an easy fit as well

Forgive my naivete......what is this and why was it necessary? I presume something having to do with air and the turbo.....and if beneficial, would I want one?

How much does it miss by? May be you could change the rocker cover to the flat one, that should give you another 15-20mm, that's what I did with the same cooler in my rangie.

mount it to the passangers side..

have you seen the canyon that exists between the inner wheel guard and the engine?

I routinely sit on the passangers side wing with my feet on the rail and starter when I'm doing valves on the 6x6,,, (its easier than leaning over)
