Help with Landrover Perentie starting issue

The defender has been starting up and driving fine, however last week it wouldn't start. The engine was turning over but was unable to start. There is no issues with the battery. Any Ideas on what might be causing the issue.

Let me know if anyone has any solutions.

    Cheers

First thing I would check is the engine stop mechanism - probably not moving when ignition is switched on or off. If this is not the issue, then it is almost certainly fuel supply - either a blockage, or air in the system, and needs bleeding.

There are other possibilities, but these are the most likely.

assuming its cranking fast enough to start,

remove the 2 bolts (sometimes one) that mount the EDIC cable to the inlet manifold or IP.

    crank it.

if it starts its either the Edic or the electrics that drive it, check the jesus fuse first. if it doesnt start you have a fuel suppy issue,

crack the smallest bolt on the fuel filter at the top of the engine, unscrew then pump the hand primer on the IP.

if you get fuel pouring out of the priming pump that needs replacing but should seal up when screwed down, if you cant get fuel up to the filter top then remove the inlet banjo bolt on the lift pump, clean the internal strainer and go again.

if you still cant get fuel that far, its either (in order)
out of fuel in the tank
split a seal on the sedimentor behind the fuel tank
    split a fuel line
cracked the pick up pipe in the tank.
got a blockage in the line.

When you turn the ignition to on (without cranking) you should clearly hear the EDIC motor move (fuel shut off "electrical device" )
If someone else turns the ignition on while you are looking at the injector pump, you should see the shutoff on the pump move.

If it doesnt move, there is generally a fuse to the left of the brake booster on the firewall (but I don't know if this fuse is the norm or a mod done after the fact)

    The fuse is normal.

Its a glass fuse in a stock trim county and a blade fuse in a perentie.
