Help needed with 4bd1 left hand engine mount bracket

Im still awaiting parts for my conversion and in preperation i want to fit a standard 4bd1 left hand engine mount bracket. Its the one that bolts to the engine. I have searched high and low in my area and can not source one locally or even genuine. KLR are out of stock.

I have aircon in the 300 tdi and the donor vehicle for the engine is an FFR which has a cast bracket which incorporates mounting the 100 amp alternator. I have to go back to the standard mount. Im chasing a tech drawing so i can get one made up. Any help appreciated. Baz

FUntionally, as far as supporting the engine goes, the FFR and standard mount are identical.

Is the additional casting works getting in the way?

if so you can just grind those bits away.

Yes Casting for mount will get in the way from what i can see. The aircon mounting bracket would bolt near the top of the casting, have not had a good look as still driving 130 with tdi , and aircon time is coming up here. Will chase up a mate and see if i can get an old air con compressor and have a look. Just looking for the easy option a this stage.

As Dave said, just cut the 28V generator mounting lugs off the FFR engine mount.

or you drive and mount the AC gear using the FFR alternator mounting gear after fabricating a bracket
