4bd1 with defender 1.4.1 transfer case.

As per previous posts by myself. I'm currently running a disco transfer behind my r380 / 4bd1. Whilst i have no issues with the current setup. My interest has been raised as to fitting an Roamer drive unit. I have contacted the Vendor who stated that it wont fit a discovery transfer case. The million dollar question, am i better off keeping my current set up. I like the idea of splitting gears for better operation and driveability. All opinions welcome. Baz

    Yeah I wouldn't got to a 1.4 case then.
So why won't it fit a 1.2 case?.

I have no idea, from the site

The DS will not fit in the following cases:
Models fitted with four speed gearboxes. Consult our factory for possible alternatives.
Models fitted with 230 transfer case suffix A and B found on early 90 and 110 models. You would need to fit the later suffix transfer case used up to the TD5 model.
Models that have been retrofitted with Discovery 1 or Discovery 2 transfer cases.

The site also states overdrive for LT95 in the works.

My understanding is that there are two different (PTO) output gear sets in these boxes. I got an explanation from Roamerdrive quite a while ago, but can't find the email.
