One of the 110s little extras......

Yesterday, I needed to check the compliance date on the 110. The plate is in the middle of the bulkhead behind and above the aircleaner. Now one of the problems with old age is that the eyes are not as good as they used to be, so I had to crawl just about into the engine compartment to read it.

One of the little extras provided is a bracket on the underside of the bonnet, which I believe is meant to accommodate a prop instead of the folding arm I have.

The edge of this bracket is very sharp.

Ever notice how freely scalp wounds bleed?............

Drove over to next door's to get my nephew to look at it - he reckons it is not deep enough to need stitches.

    bonnet leg

    Mine only has a leg.
It has a spot for the regular folding support though.

I have one County with a prop and another with a folding leg, both 1985 models. Both also have provision for both set ups. You have to love corporate indecision
