MY 4bd1 has the letters cast into the block just under where the
dip stick comes out
well... I finally got hold of the owner. 4BA1, 2.8.
dont know much about the isuzu engines, but the tojo 2.8 is as strong as an ox but a bit of a dog on the highway. are isuzus the same?? Vehicle has o/drive so...
A 2.8 non turbo isn't anything to write home about. But with a turbo added it'd be quite good.Quote:
