IE 10K services become 5 then 2.5.
the only trips that I consider requireing dropping the suzis service interval are the ones like the canning stock route and even then only if your not the lead vehicle or you dont have the ability to avoid or stop to wait out the dust storms. Having seen some of these things abused in the top ends harshest environtments (both wet and dry) I could just about justify dropping it to the 5K mark.
The only way Id want to cross the kind of terrain and environment that might warrant dropping it to 2.5K Km is quickly, In a plane or a helicopter.
If your suzies getting long in the tooth then its worth keeping the base oil change and filter changes down to the 5K/6 month interval and leaving the rest at the 10K/12 month interval but check the rockers every 12 months and the timing every 24.
