I found it easier to learn to weld....:D
I let my pathetic connection reload the pic and they dont look bad for 240v MIG welds, no better than anyone else could do.
You would need a 3 phase welder if you want to get any better.:p

Looks like I got the pics better:)
When doing the shock rubbers this morning, my Panasonic 1/2" corless rattler/drill let the smoke out, but an hour and a bit of ginning around, it works again....it took a dip in one if the water tanks, when the old man was replacing the roof on it a few months ago and got a build up around the brushs:D

Dude, where do you get the time to do all this work!!! I recon a project like yours would take me 6 months of weekends! Looking tha goods tho Matt ;)
Damn I had a jig floating around somewhere that bolted onto the shock tower studs and plotted the mounts for the Isuzu . That photo reminded me.
I could have sent it down if I could remeber where it is.

Nice job on the mounts:) Look like they are ment to be there;) Don't leave the rangie on the spit to long or it might dry out and not leak:p;)
Cool.
Is the lower part of the mount joined to the intersection of the bottom plate/side wall or is it up on the side of the chassis only? I just ask as I've seen chassis crack through the side when outriggers don't meet the top and bottom plates.
Also, what will stop the mounts from flexing because there is no triangulation or sides on it?

I just see lots of stuff break when offroad. :(
We were talking about it the other week, and I think the only thing I haven't seen break offroad is a gearbox and a steering box.
Yeah, the gusset should be gooood.... and a fat weld between the bottom of the mount and the bottom plate on the chassis. :D
