    Yeah, the gusset should be gooood.... and a fat weld between the bottom of the mount and the bottom plate on the chassis.

    And years ago I went to the Go-Down at the back of Warragul with a bloke I worked with in his GQ, we went out to do a late night recovery with a couple of other's, Smash the first gully on the track......No steering, broken steering box, waited till 4 in the morning for the other cars, to finish rescueing this other bloke and come back

    lol! Thats gotta suck. Bloody hell it would have been freezing while you waited. You'd just about start burning the GQ to stay warm.

    Yea but we'd walked for a couple of hours thinking where the bloke was stuck was closer

    Middle of winter and ****ing rain, Love my drizabone, was cool to hear 2 petrol turbo datsuns at full noise, high mounts going flat out till they got to him..................but then it was cold and wet again, lucky I was drunk and filled my jacket pockets before leaveing the car

    Can one of you guys post a picture of your finished mounts?
    I'm using the original V8 mounts to hang mine, with some pretty simple mounts bolted to the engine and some industrial AV mounts in between which are similar to the rover V8 ones but softer.

    If it helps Isuzu p/n 5-53215031-0 & 5-53215032-0 for Genuine mounts that LR supply.

    Well, finished off the fuel tank, cap, filler, lines etc

    And diddled aorund with the centre console stuff, not going as well as I'd hoped, but it'll get there, don't want it looking out of place
