Try a 1.222:1 TF case from a Disco, I guess from what you have mentioned it has a 1.003:1 high range, which is apparently factory ratios for these. However, My uncles one had 1.222:1 from new, and running 750/16 it was fine in 5th.

I was going to mention turning up the fuel screw a little more, but your comment about the clutch has merit. It WILL slip unless a heavier pressure plate is used, especially in 5th:eek:

welp got the truck back from MR late this arfo.

left leg will be lean mean fighting machine in 3 months... heavy duty clutch is exactly that.... but much nicer to drive.

had the swivel pins and wheel bearings done as well so it should be good for a few klms now i hope :p

picked up a 2nd hand hayman reece towbar today from BOR so i will fit that hopefully this weekend and i am right to take the camper trailer for a run somewhere i hope...

doing a run down to caffery's flat around christmas so want to get all the bugs sorted by then ....
