Finally Boost and phyro is fitted up and working.
I put them on the top right as out of harms way of some of the employees we get here.;)

Sees 515 deg on a long hill under full noise (post turbo)and making almost 10 psi boost.
Not sure if I should push it any further fuel or boost wise with out a fridge on it..
Cheers Tony
Add intercooler, add boost, add fuel accordingly:D
I'm looking at http://www.dencodiesel.com/pdf/broch...20Brochure.pdf but would have to go inplace of the air filter:( Be comes a can of worms I seem to think.
I want to put aircon in this one so a big fridge infront of my rad won't be so good.
You can get either a green sleeve to go over the backlight bulb in that boost guage or a green LED. I went green LED in mine and fitted resistors to dim them back to the factory gauge brightness. Wired in through the dimmer switch too.
Shift the probe to pre-turbo if you can.
Would you beleive they are both VDO. The pyro came with red and green sleeves, the boost didnt:mad: I also thought the compensating loom on thermo probe was poorly made:( Not soldered and poorly crimped.
Re putting the probe pre turbo. I'm not sure I should drill and tap the manifold with turbo still fitted for obvious reasons. I don't have time to pull it off ATM.:(
I see some one here did it with the engine running etc.
Cheers Tony
Yes I've got the same gauges, went to a green LED for the same reason (no green sleeve) and had the compensating loom attachment break it's wires. I now use mini K type connectors.

Well the poor old 120 is an all rounder these days.
Now has a fire tank full of water , a pump, a 4 stroke driven air compressor and a side delivery feed bin:eek:
It also has to drag a double horse float and tandem trailers with a GCM of over 3 ton. Its coping quite well with 3.54s and 35's but does need intercooling to help the EGTs.

The air bags are great in this application:), long travel shocks are not:eek: Have to be very careful on a side slope with all that weight on one side:o
Feeding the calves.
